Thanks for visiting my personal website. I decided to start doing this for a few reasons:

• As I began my transition out of the US Navy, I wanted to curate a space that is better at explaining who I am than just the business standard, one-page resume.
• To the point above, translating military experience in a format that is understandable by a wide audience is really difficult! I needed some more space to do so, and this seemed like a good venue.
• I wanted to have a place to publish some of my thoughts as I reflect on my Naval service over the last 9 years.
• Building a website sounded like a fun side project that also demonstrates my ability to learn new things. I did this all myself!
